Many people pray for success but very few pray for the challenges that produce it.
The truth is that anything obtained without effort is rarely appreciated. We go to school and spend years studying, writing tests, failing, learning and trying again before we earn a certificate. Why? Because growth is found in the process not in the reward.
Yet in life many people want wealth without sacrifice, influence without responsibility and success without struggle. But where exactly does that happen? On which planet?
Even Jesus Christ though He was the Son of God endured suffering before glory. The crown came after the cross. If greatness required sacrifice from Him why should we expect a different path?
Challenges are not your enemies. They are your training ground. Every setback is teaching you something. Every delay is building something in you. Every obstacle is preparing you for a level you are not yet ready to handle.
A seed must first be buried before it can grow. Gold must pass through fire before it shines. A diamond is formed under pressure. In the same way, a person must go through challenges before they discover their true strength.
Stop asking why life is hard. Ask what the hardship is trying to teach you.
Always remember: where challenges end success begins. Challenges are not a sign that God has abandoned you, often they are evidence that He is preparing you.
Stay in the game. Your breakthrough may be hiding behind the challenge you are thinking of giving up on today.
