Not every electrical shock means your house wiring is the problem.
We recently attended a fault where the cooker, microwave, fridge, and other metallic appliances were giving people a mild electric shock.
After hours of testing, we discovered something unexpected—the problem wasn't the house wiring or the earthing system. The utility neutral supply was carrying voltage, making the entire installation unsafe.
This is why electrical faults should never be ignored or "fixed" through trial and error. Sometimes the real problem is beyond what you can see, and only proper testing can reveal it.
⚠️ If you ever notice electrical shocks from your appliances, don't assume it's normal. Switch off the affected circuit if it's safe to do so and have the system checked immediately.
At Grid Electrical Electricians, we don't just repair faults—we find the actual cause. Because every fault has a story, and every solution starts with the right diagnosis.
