NDALUMBA RESOURCES IS NOT ANYWHERE CLOSE TO THE MKUSHI MINE SAGA.

In our earlier posting we cited Ndalumba Resources to be the sole owner of the MKUSHI mine in public Question.

From our investigative journalism, we have come to a truthful conclusion that Ndalumba Resources is far from the MKUSHI mine Saga and that, none of the shareholders are related to the First Lady. Something we regret publishing and we would like to apologize to the General public and those that copied and pasted the information. We sincerely apologize.

Accordinng to our investigative outcomes, Sacko mining Limited was sold to Truestone who in turn partnered with the locals under Ndalumba Resources Limited...!

TRIBAL REAMRKS ANGER STUDENTS

January 31, 2023

Students from various higher learning institutions are angered by the continued tribal remarks being peddled by opposition political parties. The students who were represented by union leaders from the University of Zambia (UNZA) and Evelyn Hone college have expressed concern over the country’s tribal sentiments emanating from opposition politicians and warned that they will not allow the situation to degenerate.

Speaking during a press briefing organized by the two unions, University of Zambia Student Union in charge of Finance, Ndanji Mfula said the student populace is disappointed with the tribal remarks and called on all well-meaning students to condemn in the strongest terms the recent tribal statements coming from the former ruling party.

“As young persons it saddens us to listen to some of the statements by some so-called leaders that have the potential to cause civil strife. It is becoming abundantly clear that some politicians are inherently tribal and see everything else from tribal lenses. We would like to commend President Hakainde Hichilema for working towards uniting the Zambian people”, he said.

Mr Mfula called on Zambians to do away with negative vices so that they continue to offer constructive checks and balances that will help in improving the livelihoods of the Zambian people as opposed to being obsessed with tribal talks

The unions have since appealed to all politicians across to avoid any form of divisive politics bordering on tribalism and regionalism.

Speaking at the same event, Evelyn Hone College student union president Reagan Mpundu commended the New Dawn Administration and President Hakainde Hichilema for the bold steps taken rebuilding the country.

Mr Mpundu further expressed satisfaction that Zambia now has a leadership that serves the best interest of all its people regardless of political affiliation and ethnicity.

Mr Mpundu cited massive job opportunities in the public service, the provision of free education and the increased Constituency Development (CDF) as some of the milestone achievements recorded by the New Dawn Government in the country’s history.

And Minister of information and research Sydeny Mushili has commended the New Dawn Government for its stance taken in the fight against corruption which was rampant during the PF regime. He appealed to the government to ensure that all properties acquired through corrupt deals are recovered and money channeled towards students’ bursaries.

The trio were flanked by UNZASU Vice President Evelyn Mkandawire, Josphat Nyirongo UNZASU Minister of Education and Academic Affairs and other Union Leaders.

THABO KAWANA WRITE'S

MY WIFE'S CHRISTMAS GIFT

On Saturday Christmas Eve, I took my Wife and children to Southern Cross Motors at East Park Mall. There, I suprised my Wife with a vehicle from their show room that I got for her.

We shared the joy and pictures with our close friends and relatives and called on our family elders to come and bless the vehicle.

Before 19hrs, some of the pictures we took started doing rounds on social media and stories began. It became clear to me then that anyone from among our friends or relatives may have shared the photos with any of their friends who in turn posted them onto social media.

Yesterday was Christmas day, so I kept my phone away and dedicated my time to church in the morning and family in the afternoon.

When I turned my phone back on, I found alot of messages both in WhatsApp groups I am in and on Facebook.

I took time to reflect on the entire situation and realized that the public was outraged. Two issues stood out, one was the question asking why did we flaunt the pictures to the public and the second one was how could I as a civil servant afford the vehicle?

Neither I nor any member of my household posted any pictures on social media. The photos were circulated from the ones we shared with our close family and friends who must have shared with their friends who in turn took them to social media.

As a public worker, I am entitled to a vehicle financing scheme (loan) under the Public Service Micro Finance Company (PSMFC). All public workers are eligible under this scheme to aquire different assets that include but not limited to, farming equipment, building materials and duty free motor vehicles. These vehicles are available from different dealers who partner with PSMFC and one can choose which vehicle one qualifies for from which dealer after assessment of one's payslip.

When you buy this vehicle under this arrangement, you have it on red book and not white book for the next five years until you finish paying for it with agreed monthly deductions. So to answer the public's concern on how I could afford the said vehicle, IT'S A CAR LOAN.

Allow me to take this opportunity to sincerely apologize, firstly to the members of the public for the distress and trauma this episode has caused when people were supposed to be enjoying with their families but instead, were made to recall the distasteful recent past were leaders flaunted ill gotten wealth to a struggling majority.

Secondly, allow me to apologize to our Republican President who has led an exemplary life espousing the importance of service to the people before self.

Thirdly, further allow me to apologize to the Upnd and it's Alliance Partners for setting out a very bad perception that the publication of the said pictures have caused and misrepresented the values and norms that the Upnd and it's Alliance Partners stand for.

My sincere apologies once more.

Kind regards to all and a Happy New Year as we enter 2023.

Thabo Kawana.

PRESS STATEMENT

17 TH NOVEMBER 2022

STOP DENTING THE IMAGE OF PRESIDENT HH OVER CRIMINAL ELEMENTS

It’s very unfortunate to see people aspiring for top leadership are the ones defending and celebrating criminality without shame. President HH made it very clear that the Police will operate independently. But now, you the opposition are the ones enticing the Police to arrest you for your irresponsible behavior. President HH is not a problem but you are now a danger to democracy. President HH means well for this Country.

It’s very important to teach our youth good morals that politics is not about insults. Unfortunately, our youths are growing up with the belief that politics is about insults. Teach our young politicians to respect the leadership, tomorrow they will respect you. Talk to your colleagues now; don’t give them false hopes by shedding crocodile tears. Those insulting President HH in the name of freedom of speech and checks and balances must be condemned. What is wrong is wrong. Stop encouraging and celebrating insults. One day you’ll regret your actions.

It has now become a norm that the opposition is there to insult, peddle in lies and whoever does that is regarded as a hero. We now see the opposition ganging up and issuing inflammatory statements condemning President HH and the UPND for arresting law breakers. It’s the same trend when ACC or DEC picks up a politician from a group of plunderers or thieves. Which Country do you want to run where criminals are celebrated? Not Zambia for God’s sake. Do you want to turn Zambia into a lawless Country? Next time you will be screaming on top of your voice in prison

Truly, if at all you love one another in the opposition talk to your so called friends to tone down and offer credible checks and balances like we did in UPND. Also tell your colleagues who dipped their fingers into public resources to be sincere enough. Don’t just scream on top of your voices that President HH is arresting opposition leaders. You are simply misleading your friends and sending them to prison. Suppose one of you became President today, are you going to continue supporting and celebrating criminality? NO. Let us go back to the Zambia that once respected its leaders and elders.

MORE CDF EMPOWERMENT GRANTS POUR INTO LUSAKA CENTRAL CONSTITUENCY

Ms Chimuka said that the area lawmaker has on several occasions gone out of his way to ensure that people in his constituency enjoy the fruits of the New Dawn Government. Ms Chimuka advised the recipients and would be recipients to be innovative as money is there to support their innovations .

Representing the Lusaka City Mayor at the event, Lubwa ward Councillor Clement Milonga urged the successful applicants to put the funds to good use in order for them to generate profits and feed their families. He reminded the recipients that the funds received will also help create employment opportunities for other people within the community.

And a beneficiary of the empowerment fund, Inutu Phiri of Action Oriented Women Multipurpose Cooperative Society in Kabulonga ward thanked the New Dawn Government for awarding them with a grant of K40,000. Ms Phiri assured Hon. Haimbe that the money will be put to good use. She revealed that her cooperative intends to purchase land where it will venture into different clusters and value addition.

The event was attended by Kabulonga Ward Councillor, Silwizya ward councillor, Ketty Nanyangwe and residents of Lusaka central constituency.

*WE APPRECIATE THE DEMOCRATIC SPACE CREATED BY PRESIDENT HAKAINDE HICHILEMA - OPPOSITION*

Golden Party president Jackson Silavwe, New Heritage party president Chishala Kateka and defacto National Democratic Congress leader Saboi Imboela yesterday held a tripartite meeting to discuss matters of mutual interest.

In their discussion, the opposition leaders acknowledged the peaceful democratic space that has been created by President Hakainde Hichilema and the New Dawn Government.

"Yes we can criticize a few things as opposition but definitely Zambia is in safe hands. This is the way it's supposed to be in democracy. Opposition leaders can meet freely and criticize government without fear of being attacked. On that democratic tenet HH has scored," Saboi said during the meeting.

Jackson Silavwe and Chishala Kateka who have in most cases been objective in offering checks and balances, advised Saboi to avoid politics of personal attacks and concentrate on issue based politics.

Definitely Zambia is safe hands and we must all embrace democracy.

*CHIKANKATA IN PRIMARY SCHOOL BOOST*

CHIKANKATA- 05/10/2022

CHIKANKATA District of Southern Province has received a timely boost in education as the construction of a 3 1*3 class room block nears completion in the area.

Mubuyu Primary School in Chitete ward is being constructed by Mubuyu Farm as part of the entity's Social Corporate Responsibility-SCR-has elated area Member of Parliament-MP- Jacqueline Sabao.

Speaking shortly after a tour of both Mubuyu Farms and the site for the construction of the school, Ms Sabao stressed that the initiative was in line with the New Dawn Administration's aspiration to provide free education to all Zambians.

Ms Sabao notes that free education to the masses both in CHIKANKATA and other areas of the country was key in addressing the numerous social, cultural and political innuendos facing majority Zambian citizens.

She charged that education was "the greatest equalizer that bridges the gap between the rich and poor of our country" as envisioned by Zambia's 7th Republican president, Mr Hakainde Hichilema.

Shortly after a visit of the farm located along Lusaka-to-Livingstone road, the area lawmaker visited Turn Pike ward where she made a K50, 000 cash donation to 10 trading groups who specialize in the merchandise of various market products ranging from banana, tomato, cabbage, onion and other cereal crops that generates in excess of 1, 000 indirect jobs for the masses in the locality.

After touring Mubuyu Farm earlier, Ms Sabao stressed that it was encouraging that the farm had the capacity to employ direct jobs in excess of 2, 000 locals during harvest for the famous Munali Coffee, a feat she says fits in well with the New Dawn's desire to ensure that it provides affordable, good quality education as enshrined the 8th National Development Plan (8NDP).

The lawmaker was accompanied by Chikankata District Council chairperson, Conrad Ngoma and Chitete ward councillor Friday Kasina
