Forum for Small, Medium Enterprises and Manufacturers (FSMEM) was formed in 2010 and registered on 21st February, 2014 with the Patents and Companies Registration. Since its inception, it has strategically created a networking system which will enable it sustain its operations and ensure its growth. SME’s and Youths have lacked mentorship, training and loans for quite some time now, while ironical
ly the former being the greatest employers and the latter being the greatest fraction of society. They have not had an organization to resolve their peculiar circumstances or later on amass confidence to participate in the mainstream economy. This has led to a situation that has denied them an opportunity to adequately participate in fostering economic growth and development in this country. In addition, government statutory bodies have had a challenge in meeting their needs which may enable them flourish in their businesses. SME’s and Youths have equally been challenged with inhibitions emanating from corporate bureaucracy and hence hindering them opportunities to create or expand their business. Therefore, FSMEM is trying to bridge this gap by supporting SME’s and Youths to create and expand their businesses. FSMEM has great respect for SME’s business types and operations as it is a source of their livelihoods thus we strive to provide them with resources which enables them have confidence in their respective businesses. We also provide a platform for SME’s and Youths to interact with the corporate governance system with regards to businesses policy. Our Working Environment
