The key focus is on regional integration and cross-border collaboration, with a clear reminder that SMEs should not rush into cross-border trade without first understanding their local market, demand, and competition. True sustainability means building a strong foundation at home, then scaling outward through partnerships that create lasting value for customers, communities, and regional markets.

Last week, we officially kicked off our Training of Trainers (TOT) under the Youth Leadership Program 2026–2027 a leadership and facilitation training designed to equip young people to lead and inspire change.

Implemented by Avencion through the Going Beyond Project, in partnership with Digital Opportunity Trust and the Mastercard Foundation, this transformative program is building the skills, mindset, and tools young changemakers need to make a real impact in their communities.

Live from Lusaka, 47 passionate young leaders are fully immersed in learning, growth, and self-discovery. The energy in the room is unmatched.

✨ We can’t wait to see these young leaders step out, share their knowledge, and spark change where it matters most. This is just the beginning 💫
