Mondi Capital

Mondi Capital Strategic advisory, project sponsorship and infrastructure coordination platforms.

Inside EILF — Zambia 2026.

The photos showed who was in the room.

This highlights film shows why the room mattered.

For two days at the Government Complex in Lusaka, stakeholders from government, regulation, finance, development, engineering, project development, advisory and implementation came together around Zambia’s energy infrastructure delivery agenda.

The message was clear: ambition alone will not deliver infrastructure. Projects must be bankable, offtake must be credible, capital must meet prepared sponsors, and institutions must align early enough for ex*****on to move.

EILF was convened as a platform for that alignment.

The Forum has closed, but the work continues.

Last week in Lusaka, the people who determine whether energy projects move began working from the same reality.

EILF — Zambia 2026 was not convened to add another conference to the calendar.

It was built around a harder question:

What has to align for energy projects to move from licensed capacity, policy intent and market interest into bankable, finance-ready and executable infrastructure?

For two days at the Government Complex, that question brought together voices from across the delivery chain: public leadership, regulators, utilities, developers, capital providers, DFIs, insurers, advisers, engineers, EPCs, off-takers and implementation professionals.

The conversation moved beneath the headlines.

Licensed capacity still has to become bankable.
Prepared projects still have to meet credible capital.
Offtake has to be workable.
Regulation has to be understood early.
Engineering and ex*****on standards have to hold.
Institutions have to work from the same reality.

That is where delivery begins.

For those in the room, EILF — Zambia 2026 offered an early view of the coordination layer Zambia’s energy infrastructure market now requires: not ambition alone, but disciplined alignment around what can actually be financed, built, connected and operated.

The Forum has closed. The platform has not.

Mondi Capital will now carry forward the outcomes process, project-readiness conversations, stakeholder follow-through and ex*****on-focused engagements emerging from EILF — Zambia 2026.

For those who build, finance, regulate, insure, advise, procure or depend on energy infrastructure in Zambia, this is the conversation to follow.

We are pleased to confirm Eng. Clement Siame, Chief Executive Officer of Kiyona Energy Limited, as a panelist at EILF — Zambia 2026.

He will participate in the session:

Financing Resilient Energy Infrastructure at Scale

The financing conversation must be connected to delivery reality: grid readiness, generation capacity, transmission infrastructure, system stability and long-term operational resilience.

Eng. Siame brings over 30 years of experience across power generation, transmission, system operations, grid infrastructure and energy project delivery.

This is one of the conversations that matters for Zambia’s energy build-out.

We are pleased to confirm Dr James Wakiaga, PhD, United Nations Development Programme - UNDP Resident Representative in Zambia, as a keynote speaker at EILF — Zambia 2026.

His keynote will address:

Smart Health Systems: Scaling Resilient Energy Infrastructure from Projects to Portfolios

The conversation is timely. Across health facilities and public service systems, resilient energy infrastructure is no longer a side issue. It is central to continuity, reliability, digital monitoring and long-term service delivery.

At EILF — Zambia 2026, this keynote will help frame how energy solutions can move from isolated projects into scalable portfolios with stronger development outcomes.
