Responsibilities:

Install, maintain, and enhance electrical systems and components including fuses, lights, and wiring.
Troubleshoot problems and make timely repairs.
Perform preventive maintenance on electrical systems and components.
Test electrical systems and ensure proper functioning.
Perform all work in compliance with electrical codes, blueprints, and standards.
Perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy equipment and maintaining strenuous positions.
Connect cables and equipment.
Advise the management team of critical equipment and systems that could pose hazards.

Required Skills:

Knowledge and experience in building construction, mathematics, and security.
Ability to work individually and as part of a team.
Strong communication skills and ability to interact with other skilled trade professionals.
Proficiency in using testing equipment and hand tools.
5 years of experience.
Age: 30 to 45 years old.
Familiarity with the Zambian energy sector.
Good typing and writing skills.
Police clearance is an added advantage.

Qualifications:

Full Grade 12 certificate.
Diploma or higher in electrical engineering from an accredited institution.
Registered member of the EIZ.
