Stop helping strangers with their phones!
Just 30 minutes can make you lose everything.

*How the scam works*:
Recently, in shopping malls, MRT/LRT stations, and markets,
a new type of “help-me scam” is becoming very common.
⚠ The scammer usually looks like a polite middle-aged or elderly person,
saying they don’t know how to use their phone 📱,
want to check pension, check subsidy, or clicked the wrong page,
and politely ask you to “help tap something.” 👀
*Here’s the real danger*:
Once you take their phone, you’ll notice:
The screen is already on
A video call is already running
Or the phone is already recording the screen or has recognition permissions activated
Someone on the other side of the video
is watching you in real time.
You think you’re helping,
but your biometric data is being collected.
This is not normal fraud — this is “AI Biometric Identity Theft.”
What they want is not money —
they want YOU.
If you do any of the following:
Touch their phone (fingerprints captured)
Read numbers, codes, or speak (voice captured)
Look into the screen or operate the phone (facial movement captured)
Then your three core biometric identifiers:
fingerprint + voice + facial data
may have been stolen.
With current AI technology, they can create a digital clone
that looks and behaves exactly like you —
not similar, but almost identical.
What happens next is truly terrifying:
Scammers can use your “digital clone” to:
Apply for online loans
Apply for personal financing
Withdraw cash
Automatically pass face/voice verification
Within 30 minutes,
every loan or credit available under your identity can be taken.
By the time you receive bank notifications or bills,
you’ll discover that:
Your money isn’t stolen —
you’re now in huge debt,
sometimes tens or hundreds of thousands,
without knowing how it happened.
Remember these 3 life-saving rules

Even if they say “just one tap.”
2️⃣ Reject all unknown video calls
