WITH Content creation rising rapidly in the country like the temperatures in the Sahara, creatives are encouraged to enhance their ability to stay relevant and maximise their potential by developing reading culture.

Reading various books that will add value to their creative minds will help them manage, develop and sustain their skills.

Henceforth, Zambian comic Ndine Emma, whose real name is Emmanuel Phiri has taken keen interest to expand his knowledge base by developing a reading culture.

Despite being widely known for his portrayal of a hoodlum in the compounds referred to as a Ju**ie in his skits, the comedian also aims at inspiring content creators especially young ones to invest in reading.

The reading culture in Zambia is without a doubt growing due to the exposure of digital and social platforms.

However many are usually inclined to read about the trending juicy gossip rather than reading content that will impact their life positively towards their growth.

On Saturday Ndine Emma was gifted four books from renowned Zambian authors, Kelvin and Florence Tembo Mwamba who are husband and wife.

The couple has trained many people on personal management among other topics.

And Ndine Emma's Manager Fred Kisela said there is nothing that beats knowledge,as it is a master key that can unlock all kinds of doors.

Ndine Emma expressed gratitude over the books and stated that reading on important topics will help him become a better role model to young creative minds in terms of skills management.

"As we all are aware it's not easy staying relevant in the entertainment industry. For one to be a bankable brand there is more to it than just showing up at events, one needs to read in order to lead followers," Ndine Emma stated.

Kelvin Mwamba revealed that the four books were given to Ndine Emma in order to help combine his creativity, passion and taken with knowledge so that he is able to grow in his career.

Mwamba emphasised on the need to promote literacy in Zambia.

"The one who studies or researches on successful people will obviously become a candidate of success so we need to get our people to read," Mwamba added.
