DLZ has servers with banking software that handles financial records, statements, banking transactions (deposits, withdrawals, loans etc.) and many other records for Microfinance Institutions (MFIs) and Savings and Credit Co-Operatives (SACCO) of any size. Organisations that cannot afford expensive microfinance and SACCO software will subcontract DLZ to manage their databases. These organisations will access the database remotely anywhere in Zambia through internet connection. The Micro-finance and SACCO clients can access the information through SMS and online banking service. The software used is called Savings Plus and can generate hundreds of reports that can be tailored to a Micro-finance Institution or Savings and Credit Cooperative (SACCO) for both internal and external reporting.
