The second edition of the Katanga Business Meeting took place in Lubumbashi from Thursday 28th May to Saturday 30th May 2015 organized by Musal Communications a Company based in Lubumbashi DRC with the aim of connecting companies to new Markets.
The Katanga Business Meeting (KBM) is one of the most recognized and important trade exhibitions in Central and Southern Africa bringing together different companies from different Countries.
The venue for this year’s exhibition was the Assemblée Provinciale Du Katanga and the meeting was graced by Katanga Governor Moise Katumbi who was delighted to be present at the exhibition and demonstrated this by visiting several stands including the Zambian stands.
In his address to the participants, the Governor thanked the organizers for successfully bringing together more than 100 Companies under one roof for the purpose of promoting business links.
A total of 15 Zambian companies participated in the trade exhibition with notable companies being Superior Milling, Zambeef, Gourock, Caltex, Zambia Sugar,Roland Imperial Tobacco,proflight, Unity Garments, Wheals Construction to mention a few. Fuel Systems Ltd and its sister company Global Weighing were no exception
The trade exhibition was important to FSL as it helped the company to further its mandate of supplying and distributing the most recognizable brands of fuel handling equipment for all sectors of the economy locally and internationally.
The meeting further helped the Company to expand its business by increasing its market share which should result in increased foreign exchange in due time.
