ZAMCOPS is an acronym for Zambia Music Copyright Protection Society. It was formed by Composers, authors and Publishers of music in 1994. ZAMCOPS is registered under the Ministry of Information and broadcasting Services as a Collecting Society, in line with the Copyright and Performance Rights Act no. 44 of 1994 as a Collective Management Organisation (Collecting Society).
