Deluxe Gems Gold Track is a proposed digital platform designed to formalize, simplify, and bring greater transparency to Zambia’s artisanal and small-scale gold trading sector. The platform would connect gold miners and sellers with formal buyers while creating a digital record of transactions from the point of purchase to final sale or export.
Key problems it addresses:
* Informal and poorly documented gold transactions.
* Limited access to reliable gold prices and market information.
* Difficulty for miners in accessing formal buyers and markets.
* Limited traceability of gold from source to buyer.
* Cash-based transactions and weak transaction records.
* Challenges with compliance, taxation, and documentation.
* Limited access to practical support on responsible mining and formalization.
