I have unfollowed Dr. Mujajati Aaron because there is a misalignment in expectations/value.

Don't get me wrong, I still look up to Zambia's favorite doc and he obviously does a good job at engaging with his audience. But what made me follow him was the health tips and medical discussions he'd have on his platform. The occasional banter about relationships or whatever other topics was welcome and perhaps has a following too, but there is a considerable number of us who wanted the med advice. Recently that has not been the case, at least from my feed.

It's easy to engage and perhaps even grow a Zambian audience when most of what you say is banter or not-so-serious topics, but serious audience is what you can convert into business. However, perhaps the doc has his strategy and I've simply just been left behind. Remains to be seen.

Sad scenes coming from Serenje!

The only way to make Zambian roads safer is to separate the lanes, make islands in the middle. Most of the times vehicles pass inches away from each other at high speeds, it's ridiculous to not expect frequent accidents. And to add salt to the wound our roads aren't in the best shape. This simple construction change could save thousands of lives. People shouldn't be dying when it's preventable.

I googled "oldest tribe in the world" and according to DNA research the oldest tribe in the world is the Khoisan, a combination of the Khoikhoi and San people of Africa.

Consequently, this means Adam must have been African and from Africa. Did you know that Africa is not the original name but a given name. The original name is Alkebulan, and it means Mother of Mankind or Garden of Eden.

The Khoisan are currently completely unaware of their importance to the world. The Africans in general are also completely oblivious to who and where they are. There is a lot of information that is yet to be discovered and rediscovered. Regarding the information that is known, people have gone to great lengths to hide and twist this information.

In order to give the Zambian economy a chance to revive, focus needs to shift to microeconomic factors as opposed to looking at things from the general economic perspective. Here's two things the govt needs to do.

1. Remove barriers to trade for small and medium enterprises. It's foolishness to have the council shutting down businesses because of some small compliance issues like permits. In fact it would be better to suspend some charges and fees to give a survival chance to these small businesses.

2. Deducting 37.5% from employees earning k8900 is killing the microeconomic sector. People earning this money are the ones more likely to start a small business and employee someone. If you deduct that much you bring them down to K5500 where they can only survive and not thrive. So indirectly, this is keeping everyone at the same level. So you can reduce unemployment but the employed will still be suffering. Tax will never be a solution to economic problems.

Allow people to do well at individual and family level first then the healing will start from inside out.
