Our construction management team attained completion of backfilling and compaction operations to the Substructure of this beautiful 3 bedroom residential building.The works have been executed in strict compliance with project specifications.

โœ“Importation and placement of approved selected granular backfill materials (gravel) to foundation trenches and around construction plinth walls.
โœ“Introduction of moisture into the backfill
โœ“Backfilling undertaken in uniform 150mm compacted layers using a mechanical plate compactor to achieve optimum moisture content and density.
โœ“Compaction of the backfill to formation level for ground floor slab construction.
โœ“Disposal of surplus excavated materials off the site.
All activities were executed under a full time Engineering supervision to ensure the provision of stable,uniformly compacted sub-base with minimal risk of post construction settlement.

Following successful completion of backfilling and compaction,the works are programmed to proceed with plastering of the foundation box ,Damp proof membrane (dpm) installation,steel reinforcement fixing and casting of slabs .
