We push our fellow youths to Focus and have Confidence t

The twice yearly injectable PrEP is NOT for HIV positive people it is to prevent HIV (for HIV negative people)
It is NOT a replacement for ARVs.
HIV positive people continue with your ARVs please!!

I once looked like this all over my chest ,neck and my buttocks adi kwenda choo it was very painful πŸ˜’ πŸ˜” 😟. many may ask why???? It's because I was throwing my arvs away nikipewa na my guardians coz I felt I wasn't sick πŸ˜”πŸ˜’
I was feeling healthy and I didn't know I am HIV positive. By the way Taking ARVs every day and as consistently as possible is key to keeping HIV under control. When doses are frequently missed or taken very late, medication levels can drop, allowing the virus a chance to multiply, which over time may weaken the immune system and contribute to health changes such as rashes, itching or recurring infections. Keeping a consistent routine helps maintain steady drug levels, suppresses the virus effectively, protects overall health and reduces the risk of drug resistance that can make treatment harder. A simple way to stay on track is setting an alarm or tying your ARVs to a daily routine like supper or bedtime and avoiding guessing the time. πŸ’™ Remember, consistent ARVs mean stronger treatment and better long-term health outcomes.
