THE HEIST part 4

Big papa is what they called him. A clandestine dealer who dealt in almost everything. From vehicles, to precious stones and anything in between. He built his his success through a series of businesses which started with the purchasing of stolen property as well as drugs which he sold to high profile people. He bought from a notorious area called Chibolya in Lusaka. He could buy the most expensive property at very minimal prices then sold them at exorbitant figures due to their scarcity. By then an LCD and plasma TV was sold for anything around twelve thousands, but he could buy the stolen ones at a maximum of two thousands. This helped him to quickly amass money which he later reinvested in other legal businesses until people started swinging him other other deals. At this time,he was the most feared dealer in the land with more than fifty businesses attached to his name. Mathew sat quietly as he awaited his turn to see the man he had never seen. A Buffy guy walked out the door, regarded him, then gave him a signal to follow him in. He walked humbly after the man as if it was a lamb being led to slaughter. He was ushered into a room which he knew well . A very dark room with a table lanp light facing him, to shield him from seeing the man he was supposed to discuss business with. "So what brings you here again Mathew my good friend?". A voice rumbled from somewhere within the room behind the lamp. Mathew started narratives of how his business was doing, asked Big papa to help him with some money which was to be paid the following month. " But I thought you had about hundred plus in you bezel my friend ?" Mathew shamefully admitted and explained how he had lost it all. But he was surprise that Big Papa suddenly got interested in knowing who had done the eembezzlements. The embezzler was surprising a lady who Mathew knew as Crystal. Big papa laughed at his lack of logic. He told him never to trust ladies who are named after liquor. Crystal is a champagne name. He pressed a button on his table without Mathew's knowledge, immediately two seemingly, his most intelligent men.

The minister loved to hung out at one of the drinking places in Rhodes park called croads backpackers. It was secluded and had an affluent clientele. He loved sitting surrounded by ladies.

The two men walked into Protea hotel at Mutaba house and asked the receptionist if there were any vacant rooms either on third or fourth floor. He pressed a few buttons on the computer keyboard, held the mouse and started scrolling down whatever spreadsheet was on the screen then turned to them and said, "there are still some on the south wing". The men nodded. One of them signalled the Porter to follow him while the other started formalising their stay at the hotel. They had luggage that didn't look like a single night stay.
The Porter set their luggage on the carpet, one of them handed him in fifty kwacha and instructed him a " do not disturbe" tag on the door handle of their room. He agreed with a nod and left. They locked the door and immediately opened their baggage which contained sophisticated I.T equipment and started the hack into both bank transactions and CCTV camera system of the bank transactions n search of their hunt. It didn't take them long, to track down this beauty who looked very innocent.

THE HEIST part 3

Crystal drove her newly bought Mercedes whip she recently bought from a local dealer. They went way back in high school, and that was the reason he had sold it to her at forty thousands. All she wanted was a vehicle with a bit of class and her mobility was essential since sometimes she had to do intercity travelling. She turned into her driveway as she waved to the guard who waved back. She Parked at the end of the thirty mitre driveway in front of her flat in Chalala where she recently relocated to. She inserted keys in her lock, opened the door. She never liked using the front door than the back which was used mostly by the maid. kicked off her shoes and walked towards the bedroom while responding to the maids greeting who was now picking her shoes and trailed her. She looked herself in the mirror upon entry into the bedroom. She was now proud of the status she had now attained though it came through dubious means. She thought of the fifty thousands plus, that she had just deposited into her newly opened DIVA account at FNB and tried to figure out what she was going to do with it. She had used an account of a friend which was dormant to deposit the cheque. She had not seen the friend for a long time but she knew she could use her for this. The friend. Then once it matured she gave the friend a thousand and disappeared in her life. She had kept the money at home for some time. Her real names were Mary Mumba.

Mathew sat quietly as he hoped for a sign of Crystal's appearance. He had gotten fond of seeing the fine Lady everyday. He had met her on several occasions after the first encounter. They sometimes met in hotel cocktail bars, and sometimes in exquisite eateries. He finally believed that he had fallen in love. Then they went to Livingstone for a weekend. They had toured a number of sites and sometimes spent time indoors. On their last evening in Livingston, they decided to go for shopping after which they retired to bed after a shower. Crystal suggested that they should make love for the last time. Matthews obliged and while in the haze of the merriments, Crystal produced a cheque book that belonged to Mathews and asked him to sign while in the act. His concentration was mostly in what was going on and not what he was signing for. A week later his bank notified him that the money was successfully transferred to the account he had written the cheque for. " Which cheque?, how much?" He asked in a daze. " Hundred thousands sir". He dropped the phone and sat down trying to collect his thoughts but his head was now really spinning. He had never seen crystal since then.

The FRA transportation deal was given to a minister who owned a company registered in his mother's names. This looked like it was an independent person but in the actual sense a bid acquired through corrupt means. The minister was a mean fellow. Fat with a floppy potbelly that looked like a burden to him, of medium height, salt and pepper hair and a plump face. He had become minister through dupe, and corrupt means by his fellows recommendations due to the money he had put into their campaigns. He had a lot of enemies which he had made on his way to success. He was married to a very beautiful wife for the third time. His previous marriages had failed due to his harsh character. But his latest wife was humble, and had tolerance to nonsense.
