The drums of commerce and industry continue to beat relentlessly even in times of Covid.

It was exhilarating to present IGA concepts for Business Membership Organizations (BMOs) to the German Asia Pacific Business Association (OAV) of Hamburg and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Yarlpanam (CCIY) in Jaffna, Sri Lanka - under the BMO Partnership Programme (or Kammer-und Verbandspartnerschaftsprogramm - KVP Programme) funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) with coordination by sequa, the German non-profit development organisation.

The aim of the presentation was to help BMOs consider gravitating toward inculcating or expanding Income Generating Activities (IGAs) into their blend of revenue streams so that they can wean-off an over-reliance on membership subscriptions and create greater sustainability.

After some amazing team work and alot of technical back-stopping, Paul Chisunka & Associates finally delivered the Web-Based Common Platform for NGOs in the Energy Sector on 21st May, as part of the IAEREP Project funded by the European Union and implemented by the Ministry of Community Development & Social Services in Zambia.

This gives the NGOs in the Renewable Energy & Energy Efficiency Sector added capacity for virtual interface, video/voice conferencing, document sharing, with other versatile features to enhance remote-work and share best practices.

The Communication Cooperation & Coordination Initiative (CCCI) Is A Platform For Improved Coordination Of The Justice Sector In Zambia Through The Cooperation Of Criminal Justice Institutions & Non-State Actors For Efficient & Inclusive Justice Delivery.

The CCCI Is Anchored In & Chaired By The Governance Department Of The Ministry Of Justice.

Members Of The CCCI Include The Judiciary Of Zambia, Zambia Correctional Services, Zambia Police, National Prosecutions Authority, Legal Aid Board, Anti-Corruption Commission, Drug Enforcement Commission, Social Welfare Department, Among Others & Non-State Actors Such As Civil Society Organisations Working In The Justice Sector.
