Help a brother

I need honest advice from this group.

After 3 years of saving, I have $20,000** in hand. I work for a company where earnings have dropped from **$1,500 to $650 per month. They are retrenching, but my position is safe—I'm the only one in my role, and I'm also a relative of the owner.

I live in company housing, and they pay for my children's school transport. My wife is not working. But I know this good situation is temporary, so I want to use my savings wisely.

I'm torn between:

Buying a house or stand in Chitungwiza, OR

Starting a business

But here's my fear: I have watched nearly all my work colleagues start businesses—and every single one failed. I don't want to lose everything I worked 3 years to save.

My question to you:

If business, which one actually works in Zimbabwe right now, and how do I avoid failing like others?

If property, is a house or stand in Chitwn the better buy for $20K?

Or is there another option I haven't thought of?

I have a wife and children depending on me. Please share your real, practical advice.

Thank you.

Is it a lack of faith? Wrong timing? Or does "no" count as an answer too?
What’s your experience with waiting on God? šŸ‘‡
