Here are my views after the harmonized election. I respect the constitution guiding our country. I also wish the best for citizens of this country. I wish for a country were fairness and equality abound. A country where leaders are driven by desire to create a country that is ahead in development terms compared to its regional counterparts. At best I personally wish we combine and unite to build a leading nation in the continent of Africa.
It is with such a heart that I am thinking of a solution to our current situation. Fortunately, I am neither a beneficiary of the corrupt systems of the two major rivals of MDC and ZANU PF. I am a common man who acknowledges that Zimbabwe needs a fresh start yet conscious that the task is much bigger for a single political party to handle. We have political challenges but not only that. The country is lagging behind because as a country we have long lost the campus of humanity. We have erected heroes among fellow man who are jealous and defensive of their records. Record setters preventing record breakers.
Where are we going? I can't really lament but I just think I can remind you of our abundant talent and skills potential. The same poise Zimbabwe for a great future. While the political players alluded more to minerals and natural resources in their campaigns I actually think that the huge number of youthful professionals should not be ignored ever. Its actually key in development. Our policy should now be aligned to our demographics.
This does not require a leader to be either young or old but just visionary. The thing is as professionals and analysts people give their views which views politicians find wayward. Let's do this for more than just a leader but more generations to come. Let's realistically confront our present with the clarity of mind that our dire situation desires.
