[3/28, 12:31 PM] Jeft Mlambo: South Eastern centre trust is undergoing a project, where by it is assistin local farmers and community members in mostly in the chipinge south community mostly in chinyamukwakwa village,machona,chisumbanje and chikomwe to negotiate with the Green fuel. The SEC wishes people to be integrated in the cane farming thus some of the land must be taken and granted to local farmers
The people in these communities have settled there around 1876 and some of the farmers grow cotton at an area of 10_100 hectares so they wish if the government and investors. So they wish if the government and investors co-oparate them in the scheme. There are at least 100 farmers who want to farm sugarcane and the investor Green fuel has currently announced that he want to took 3 800 heactres. The sec has already approached the Land commission and the land portfolio committee and they are committed to pay a public hearing first weekend of April 2018. We are seeking assistance for funds from we'll wishers to go around and meet the community
