Supplements & Flock Health
1. Daily: Add nutritional supplements, veggies, and maggots/protein sources.
2. Regularly wash drinkers and feeders using Virakul
3. Every 3 weeks: Give Vitaboost.
4. Keep records: Track all vaccinations, treatments, and feed changes.
Key Management Practices
1. Sick Bay: Immediately separate any sick or weak birds. Treat them separately until fully recovered before returning to the flock.
2. Treat the flock: When illness appears, treat all birds as a preventative measure.
3. Daily checks: Visit your flock often. Watch for sneezing, coughing, or unusual behavior.
4. Clean bedding: Replace bedding as soon as it’s dirty to prevent parasites and disease.
