Joshua was about to lead the Israelites into the promised land. Though the land was promised to them, the children of Israel were supposed to fight for it. Much like your success in the field that God has called you to is a given, but you must fight for it!

God gave Joshua, their leader, an instruction to be strong and courageous and the key to this, was to remain rooted in the Book of Instruction. This book documented all the the promises God had made to Israel and the instructions He had given them for success, and from it Joshua received courage and strength to lead with prosperity and success.

In the New Testament, we as the church are also instructed to 'Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. ' 2 Timothy 2:15 And we know that 'All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right. God uses it to prepare and equip his people to do every good work.' 2 Timothy 3:16-17.

Joshua's story is a great example of the power of studying, meditating in, and obeying God's Word. As you grow the creative hustle God placed on your heart, may you be led by His Word into prosperity and success!

Every successful project was, once upon a time, just an idea. Through many small steps, it grew into something bigger. Our own projects will never grow when we tend to compare our ideas with other people's successful projects that have gone through years of little steps. Our projects will succeed when we start taking little steps towards the vision God has given us! Take the next step!

We live in a generation that largely believes that including God in our daily lives is an archaic, mystical idea that should be done away with. It can be easy to fall into the trap of not praying to seek direction for our lives and for our business ventures. Yet God, in His Word, invites us to partner with Him and seek His direction through prayer and reading of His Word and He promises that we will be successful.

It is however important to know that God's definition of success and the world's definition of success are profoundly different. It is through close relationship with God that we will be able to understand what His idea of success is and how to pursue it! So commit Your plans to Him and listen to what He has to say about them! 😄

There are days when every entrepreneur feels like giving up! When the to-do list is longer that the invoices list, when the working hours are longer that the leisure hours, when your friends are nowhere to be found when you need someone to check on you or bail you out of a financial situation.

It is in those days that our faith is tested! Is this really something that you heard God call you to do? Will you keep pushing through the challenges? The good news is we have a place where our faith can be replenished and increased. A place where our needs can be met, - a place where the vision can be kept alive. It is in the Word of God! Hebrews 11 & 12 can help us to refocus, re-energise and be encouraged that the path we are on, requires FAITH and there are many others who have walked through such impossible situations and God used their Faith to give them something everlasting!

Comparison is one of the major challenges that entrepreneurs face when pursuing their vision. The world we live in now pushes us to look at what other people are doing and try to compete with them. While it is indeed wise to know what is happening in your industry in order to position yourself strategically, we believe that your God-given vision can never be the same as another person's and when you align yourself with God and seek wisdom from Him about how to pursue what He has called you to do - you will succeed!
