So refreshing to listen to the Spotlight Initiative program on . People are interviewed in their own languages, and same is voiced over into English, making the stories both authentic and widely accessible. We challenge you to do the same with news reports. Kudos👏🏼👏🏼

The same approach should be employed even for news reports gathered in English for indigenous languages bulletins. Even if it's the voice of HE, there is no logic in listening to his English speech in a Ndebele or Venda bulletin, for instance. Translate and so the targeted audience can understand. It's not taboo to do so.
