SECURITY FIRMS UNITE FOR SECOSO TOURNAMENT TO MARK 46 YEARS OF INDEPENDENCE.

Realstar Security co-hosts successful sports gala at Morris Depot promoting unity and fitness
HARARE– Six of Zimbabwe’s leading security companies put competition aside for collaboration on Saturday, 18 April 2026, during the inaugural SECOSO Tournament held at Morris Depot, Harare.
The football and netball gala was staged in celebration of Zimbabwe’s 46th Independence Anniversary, bringing together Realstar Security, Seasec, Guard Alert, Tensor Security, Prosec, and Surbun Security under the SECOSO banner – Security Companies Social Organisation.
The event was organised to promote professional social interaction and physical fitness among industry players, in collaboration with national celebrations marking 46 years of independence.
Realstar Security, a key sponsor and co-host of the SECOSO Tournament, was instrumental in coordinating the event. The company’s teams competed strongly in both football and netball, with Realstar Securitybranding and staff engagement visible throughout the day. “For Realstar Security, SECOSO represents our commitment to teamwork, wellness, and national pride. A united, fit security sector serves Zimbabwe better,” said a Realstar Security official at the venue.
The day featured a full schedule of competitive fixtures across both sporting codes. The football final saw Prosec edge Tensor Security 4-3 in a thrilling encounter that capped off the tournament.
Netball matches drew equally strong participation, with all six companies demonstrating sportsmanship and talent in front of colleagues and families.
Participants hailed the SECOSO Tournament as a major success for industry relations. The six companies – Realstar Security, Seasec, Guard Alert, Tensor Security, Prosec, and Surbun Security – confirmed plans to grow SECOSO into an annual fixture that champions wellness and unity in the security sector #
