From 25 November to 10 December 2024, the global community comes together to spotlight the urgent need to end all forms of violence against women and girls. This year’s UNITE campaign highlights the grim reality that every 11 minutes, a woman loses her life due to violence.

At Mayittah Group, we are committed to fostering safe, thriving communities by addressing systemic challenges and empowering individuals. Through our holistic approach, integrating social, economic, and cultural dimensions, we work tirelessly to combat gender-based violence and its root causes.

The statistics remain harrowing: 1 in 3 women worldwide face physical or sexual violence, predominantly from intimate partners. These are not just numbers; they represent lives and dreams silenced by violence and discrimination.

Let us UNITE for action, awareness, and change. Together, we can build a world where every woman and girl live free from fear and violence.

Take Action. Raise Your Voice. Advocate for Change.

Exciting collaboration! Unesco Regional Office for Southern Africa partnered with Mayittah Research Insights to assess the Health Education Course (HS102) at Bindura University of Science Education (BUSE), Zimbabwe. This mandatory course for first-year students employs a blended learning approach, merging mass lectures with an online component. The course's overarching goal is to equip students with knowledge and appreciation for healthy lifestyles amidst both communicable and non-communicable diseases. Developed in collaboration with UNESCO, the curriculum covers a range of topics including Human Sexuality, Sexual and Reproductive Health, HIV and AIDS, Communicable Diseases, Non-Communicable Diseases, and Tropical Diseases. By raising awareness of student vulnerabilities and fostering a deeper understanding of broader health issues, the course contributes significantly to national health outcomes. Moreover, it positively influences students' health-seeking behaviors.
