On June 21-July 12, 2026, the International Children's Center Artek in Crimea will host the World Children's Conference “Children for Peace”.

🌍 The conference aims to create a generation of new leaders and diplomats with skills of intercultural dialogue and team work to address global challenges for the sake of world peace.

Delegations of young representatives from each country are expected to take part in order to discuss prospects of cooperation.

Zimbabwe and Malawi National school teams are invited to participate in the Open International Biology Olympiad (OIBO) on May 15-22, 2026 in Sochi, Russia.

🌱 OIBO is an international biology competition aimed at developing biological and biotechnological education at schools, as well as at strengthening international cooperation in the educational sphere.

👉 Students aged 14-18 inclusive can participate in teams of 2 to 6 members. Each team may be accompanied by one leader and up to two observers. The competition consists of three rounds: theoretical, practical and project.

Tasks are provided in Russian and English.

😍Good news for UNISA undergraduate students!

Department of Linguistics and modern Languages has elaborated the Short Learning Programme, introducing foundational Russian language skills.

Duration time: 6 months ❗

✅The introductory module - First Steps in Russian Pronunciation, Vocabulary and Grammar (FSPV01) - is designed for complete beginners with no prior knowledge of Russian.

✅Russian in Context: Language and Culture for Beginners (RCLB02) is aimed to consolidate and extend starter-level skills by strengthening communicative competence in real-life context.
