GROUP RULES for Bargain Blitz Auctioneers (hereafter BBA) members:
1. Approval:
1.1 Approval may be granted by BBA upon submission and verification of the applicants personal details.
1.2 BBA reserves the right to decline any membership requests based on historical interactions and conduct at prior auctions.
2. Conduct:
2.1 If rules are disobeyed or a member conducts themselves in a manner deemed
disrespectful and/or harmful to the success of the group and/or auction -
2.2 Bargain Blitz Auctioneers reserves the right to remove and/or ban the offending member from the group.
3. Bidding:
3.1 All lots will have starting bid prices which will be placed in US Dollars ($).
3.2 All bids to be place in whole numbers only.
4. Payments:
4.1 Payments accepted in US Dollars and/or ZWL.
4.2 If payments are made in ZWL, they will be calculated by using the prevailing rate of day, the website used as the official source to calculate the rate of the day may be found at https://www.bluemari.info/ which BBA confirms on the day of payment.
4.3 Payments for successful bids must reach BBA within 24 hours of confirmation being sent to the successful bidder. Failure to comply with any of the above, will automatically nullify any/all bids.
5. Invoicing:
5.1 Business as usual.
6. Lots:
6.1 Lots will be made available for inspection and testing by appointment only
6.2 It is highly recommended that potential buyers inspect said lot/s prior to placing their bids. If the client does not choose to inspect and test prior to bidding, BBA reserves the right to advance the sale voetstoots and no refunds and/or returns shall be accepted.
7. Bids & Charges:
7.1 Bids shall include all applicable commissions, levies and VAT.
7.2 Any queries or breakdown requests on the above can be requested prior to bidding.
8. Winning Bid:
8.1 The highest bidder at the closing time of the lot will be declared the winner.
8.2 Lots with any noted reserves are subject to seller approval prior to the sale and release of goods.
8.3 Any bids made after lot bid time ends, will not be counted.
8.4 Bargain Blitz Auctioneers urges all buyers to pay attention to ending bid times and dates.
9. Storage & Collection:
9.1 Sold lots must be collected within 48-hours of confirmation of sale.
9.2 Failure to do so will attract a storage fee of US$20 per day.
10. Liability
10.1 BBA accepts no responsibility for loss or damage to any lots left on the premises.
10.2 Lots that remain uncollected for 7 working days from date of sale, will be resold at the expense of the buyer to defray storage charges.
11 Dispute
11.1 Any member may direct, in writing to BBA, their dispute.
11.2 Any dispute must contain the details pertaining to the lot/item/sale and date of the auction which their dispute pertains to.
11.3 BBA shall respond, in writing to the member who logged the dispute, within 7 business days, advising the member of their decision or to request further details.
