Early in the morning, when the office is quiet, everything works. Then people start arriving, and by mid-morning the connection feels like it's dragging.

There's a reason for that. Laptops, phones, printers, security cameras, VoIP calls and cloud applications are all talking at the same time, and all of it moves through the same equipment. If that equipment wasn't sized for a full office, things slow down. Sometimes it's a single weak point too, like an overloaded switch or an access point that was never set up properly.

That's why this one is so hard to catch. Test it on a quiet afternoon and it looks perfect.

A network shouldn't only behave when the office is empty.

"Our internet is slow" is easily the most common thing we hear. And on paper, the line coming into the building usually is fast.

The catch is that the speed arriving at your building isn't the speed reaching your laptop. Plenty happens in between. Access points in the wrong spots. A corner of the building where the signal barely reaches. Walls, floors and steel shelving in the way. Or simply too many devices sharing one access point.

Paying more every month for a faster line fixes none of that. Far better to find out where the real problem sits first.

A brand new sports car on a dirt road full of potholes is still stuck behind the potholes. All that power, and the road decides how fast you actually get anywhere.

Business internet works in much the same way. A company pays for a faster package, waits for things to improve, and quite often nothing does. The connection arrives at the building, but the network inside is what carries it to every desk, phone and device. When either one is struggling, everyone in the building feels it.

Five signs it's time to look at your setup:

If you've got Starlink at more than two or three sites, you already know the annoying part. A site goes down. You don't know if it's the kit, the power, or a subscription that lapsed, so you send someone out to look.

The Frampol Starlink Portal saves that trip.

Every kit on your account shows up on one map with a live up or down status, whether you're running three of them or three hundred. You can search a site by name, serial number or Starlink ID.

Subscriptions sit on the same screen. That's where most people get a surprise: there's usually a kit or two sitting inactive that's still being billed every month.

You can give site managers their own logins and let them check their kits without going through head office.

And it's all free if you are connected to Starlink through Frampol
