While the Covid-19 pandemic is ravaging most countries across the Globe, the sport industry has suffered tremendous losses and most developments and achievements were shelved.

We remain steadfast in encouraging, clubs, countries and institution to invest in sport and it's infrastructure. Sport knows no colour, boarder or even age. It however is suppressed in its access by poorer communities as such we continue to advocate for free and equal access to sport infrastructure.

Sport infrastructure should not only be confined to soccer, basketball and tennis but is should encompass all and let be a choice of an individual to participate and excell.

In major spacial planning and developments, sport Infrastructure development is the last to be allocated resources and given the much needed attention. As economies continue to suffer under the effects of Covid-19, company closures and public expenditure limited, the allocation of funds for sporting facilities became the tail of the flesh.

News going rounds that CAF has condemned all sports stadiums in Zimbabwe and that Zimbabwe Soccer Team is to hold all qualifiers in its neighboring countries for both home and away matches should not be taken lightly. This shows the extend of neglect or lack or urgency in Sport Infrastructure development.

At Global Concept Development we are following closely and we remain committed to see sporting infrastructure development being included in national budgets and take Centre stage.

It's ideals are to create an environment where youths can come together and discuss issues of life importance, for instance polical, religious, economic or social. The project is spear headed by Marondera Youths Advocacy and Zimbabwe Zimbabwe Advocacy Group.
