Today, ATEG Resources joins Zimbabwe in commemorating World Wetlands Day under the theme:

“Wetlands and Traditional Knowledge: Celebrating Cultural Heritage.”

For generations, Zimbabwean communities have used indigenous knowledge to sustainably protect and benefit from wetlands. Preserving this knowledge alongside modern environmental management is key to safeguarding wetlands for future generations.
