It covers 22 modules which goes from ESTABLISHING the Dairy Goat Farm(breeds, equipment, facilities, goat husbandry, goat nutrition, all management aspects, goat reproduction, HACCP principles, herd disease/treatments, financial management, record keeping, marketing etc.)
Its a from FARM to SHELF to PLATE approach!

Includes 5 selected modules focusing on production of these Classic dairy goats products like Ice-cream, cheese, yoghurt, milkshakes and soaps

The dairy goat industry is a niche market many developed countries like the US and still at its infancy in many developing nations.
There are 4 major reasons for raising dairy goats:
• Few goats for home supply of milk
• Few goats to show at fairs and exhibitions
• Large numbers for milk products like cheese, ice cream, yoghurt etc.
• Large commercial dairy if there is market for milk.
