REFLECTION, ALIGNMENT, COMMITMENT

As the COMESA Court of Justice enters its new 5-year Strategy Cycle (2026 - 2030), it is critical that all Members of Staff are aligned and committed to the ex*****on of the New Strategy.

From 04โ€“09 March 2026 at Ridge Cabin Resort, Limuru, Kenya, our Lead Consultant Shame Samuriwo facilitated a deep-dive Strategy Workshop for the Court's Professional Staff. The structured Workshop sessions allowed participants to REFLECT on the Court's journey, and its โ€œnexus of timeโ€, appreciating the institutional gains, growth and challenges.

Subsequent sessions during the Workshop then drilled participants down to ALIGNING their individual and collective efforts towards the specific initiatives that directly impact on the Court's mission and vision. By creating a clear โ€œline-of-sightโ€ between the Strategy and Operations, the Consultant enabled all Members of Staff to identify their contribution to the Strategic Imperatives.

The final session focused on synchronizing efforts across Departments, rallying everyone on COMMITMENT to the Strategic Direction, underpinned by collective responsibility and accountability!!

The Workshop also focused on Individual and Team Wellness, which are fundamental contributors to institutional productivity and performance. The successful ex*****on of the Court Strategy requires the active engagement and contribution by all Members of Staff, albeit, with different responsibility levels.
