Have you heard the buzz? Mothers Day is fast approaching! Why not spoil mum with this delicious flapjack recipe?! Pairs well with Tiwali Honey!
Flapjack recipe:
250 g / 2 cups self-raising flour.
½ tsp salt
2 tsp sugar
3 eggs
400 ml milk
60 g/4 tbsp butter, melted.
Method:
1) Sift flour and salt together into a bowl and
sprinkle sugar over.
2) Beat eggs with milk and pour over flour.
3) Stir just until all the flour is moistened –
batter will be lumpy.
4) Lightly stir in melted butter.
5) Heat a heavy greased frying pan until a drop of cold
water, flicked onto the surface, bounces
and sputters.
6) Pour batter on to make pancakes spaced a little apart, using a 1 tbsp ladle for small pancakes or a larger
measure for larger ones.
7) Cook until pancakes are full of bubbles on top and
undersides are browned, then turn and
cook other side.
8) The final touch is a drizzle of Tiwali Honey and enjoy!
