It takes one good creative thinker with the flexibility to think ahead of what might be or happen, to beat any competitor in the game of chess.

This is like business also, you have to be a good decision maker as you will be making hundreds of them in business everyday. You will make good and bad decisions but that is business, you win some and lose some.

What's important is to have that "thinking ahead" mindset that the winners have. If you can't think ahead then plan ahead there is no excuse, for every decision you make will be fatal to your investment, investors, partners and your customers.

Think wisely. Think Ahead. Play Chess. Enjoy The Ride.

An area lacking amenities in Hatcliffe

By Lonica Kenneth (SAIC Harare)

Hatcliffe squatter camps settlers are currently facing a danger due to lack of basic amenities. The area is located few kilometre from Hatcliffe extension with a few metres from Friendship High School. Due to overpopulation and overcrowded the area is getting susceptible to various dangers of disease outbreaks as well as other anti-social activities as a result .The area in question is a squatter camp with small houses close to each other accommodation a family of 6-7people on average. There is overpopulation, lack of basic amenities such as clinics, toilets, water sources for example boreholes, taps, no sewage systems. lt was recommended that the local authorities should do something in supporting them to have the standard of living as per the requirements.

Ideas are worthless unless we act on them. Key word is . For every act we do there is an equal return that we must receive, it could be wages, salaries or satisfaction that we acted.
So do not act tomorrow, rather act today.

Letter from Tatenda Kombora the leading facilitator in the program:
*lts getting colder nowadays right?*
While we are able to warm ourselves by adding more coats to our bodies or wardrobes, snuggling in our blankets and warming ourselves with heaters.l wonder what those that don't have this are doing for example those living in the dumpsite of Bulawayo, Ngozi Mine are doing? *INDEPENDENCE*

By Munya Dembenuzani

Just the thought of the word makes my blood rise.
It makes me wanna hide.
Scores of people annually march to the tide.

Growing up, I was always expected to be in doors by 6, chastisement was the mode of the day as it was "the only way I could understand".
I always topped the chats on the noisemakers list when I thought I was trying to voice my opinions.
What if i'm highly dependent on mama n papa?,
If I can't walk freely without an ID or if I can't shout " bu****it".
Am I eligible to attend the "independence fete?".
What if I'm unemployed?, do I celebrate the declared holiday? Ohhhh wait a minute, wasn't I on holiday all along? Or was I ?

Anyways let me get back to cooking (mbambaira ne madhumbe angu ayaaa zvisat zvatsva) what else can I do if I can't Independently buy bread hangu Kkkkkk

MY INTUITION
(Conscious Realization)

By Richard Fani

My state of mind is compromise. I move left and right, back and forth, I see forces around me influencing and patronising my intelligence. My vision is blur, I hear a thousand voices in my head but still got limited choices. Fake friends all around me, no love in the promised land. What is it I'm talking about? Is this a poem or a random story? Is this about Richard Fani or some Mbare kid? This is more than just about 104 Mhlanga Avenue, this is about the people confused and mentally baffled around the world.

They appealed to my conscious with bling bling and cash money. Prophets and pastors talking about instant riches and instant money in the bank. Politicians, poli-teaching just bought my vote with a bag of maize and a promised land. Playing with our fantasies, killing our hopes, ruining the future of the little boys and girls in the ghetto streets. Now brothers are slanging and thugging whilst the girls are slaying and prostituting, either to drown their sorrows or put a meal on the table. Are you happy? Are you satisfied? When is this going to end? Beware of the ratchet karma.

I just don't know what to say or believe. I know a lot of people out there probably share the same sentiments. Our lives are being patrolled by greedness, not only by politicians but by the rich churches too. Most of the time people run to the church doors for safety and change for the better but this church is responsible today for nurturing killers, criminals, corrupt leaders driven by greed and envy for the word love. If the church is no longer providing comfort, were are we suppose to run to? What has changed in the Bible, in the Quran? Does God now appraise violence against mankind? What hurts me the most is that innocent people are victims of these circumstances caused by church leaders fighting for higher positions and better wages in the house of God.

They appealed to my conscious criticised my religion, cursed my ancestors and made me hate my tradition, culture and values of being an African. One of the greatest achievements of the men on the mission(aries) during the pre-colonial era was to disconnect the black children from their roots, they made us fear being black, feel inferior due to the colour of our skin. Africa is divided today into Islam and Christianity. The North is dominated by the former whist the South is dominated by the latter. Did the former Kings chose this for us? Did they have a choice? What about our history and dead societies? What about being black?

Today in the motherland people are dying due to unexplainable diseases, killings are being justified, children have no values, history has been forgotten, culture and values have shifted, times have changed(so they say). They Christianized and Islamized our peace and turned our home into a battlefield familiarised by wars, genocides and xenophobias perpetuated by the boundaries they created. People are killing for the sake of defending borrowed faith. Africa. Why? Africa Why?

MY INTUITION, is telling me that I'm hundred percent ghetto, African. My INTUITION is telling me there will be better days. My INTUITION, is telling me to challenge the system, challenge law, challenge the process, challenge the future. My INTUITION, is telling me be brave and be ready for what is coming.
