Behind every meaningful event is a team whose strengths fit together like pieces of a puzzle and together you can build something greater than any one person could achieve alone.

From supporting guests on the day to the countless behind-the-scenes details that make everything run smoothly, your work does not go unnoticed.

A huge thank you to Thando Mloyi, Ruth Tsanga, Tom Mbiba, Sinqobile Nyasha Tagwireyi and Nicole Kundai Duma for the dedication and heart you bring to every event.

And a special appreciation to Tutsirai Chikaonda, the man capturing the journey behind the camera. Thank you for documenting the moments, the energy, and the community we are building.

Great rooms are never built alone. They are built by people who believe in the vision and show up for it. We appreciate you and can't wait to build even more powerful moments with you.

We appreciate you and can't wait to build even more powerful moments with you.

Clarity is one of the most valuable assets a founder can have.

During his session at the Young Moguls Mixer, Kudakwashe Gumbie, CFA challenged founders to think beyond the excitement of growth and focus on what it actually takes to sustain it.

From understanding the real risks in your market, to asking what might break if sales double, the message was simple: the right questions can change how you build your business.

These were just a few of the many insights he shared as he walked founders through the kinds of questions that investors are curious about.

A big thank you to Kudakwashe Gumbie for sharing practical, thought-provoking insights with our community of founders and builders.

Follow Young Moguls Mixer for more highlights from the room and stay tuned for details on the next event.

At the Young Moguls Mixer Business Edition, Noxolo Duri didn’t just inspire the room she challenged it.

In her session on turning passion into profit, she unpacked three key mistakes that quietly stop hobbies from becoming businesses that actually pay us consistently.

One that hit home?
We create our own pricing problems.

So many of us start by charging too little. We underprice to get clients, to be “affordable”, or to prove to ourselves we can earn even if we get peanuts. But later, when we finally understand the real value of our work, we struggle to shift perception. The market has already labelled us as “cheap” and repositioning becomes twice as hard.

It wasn’t about charging high for the sake of it. It was about:
✔️ Understanding the value you bring
✔️ Pricing in alignment with that value
✔️ Building brand perception intentionally from day one

A sincere thank you to Noxolo Duri for sharing her insight, honesty and practical wisdom with the room.

This was just one of the many powerful takeaways from the mixer.
Stay tuned as we share more insights from the event, the kind that move you from passion to predictable paydays.

From Passion to Paycheck: Earn From What You Love was more than a mixer. It was a moment where we showed our future some love and an even deeper commitment to building something that lasts.

From bold conversations about funding and scaling, to honest truths about monetising what you love, every session delivered practical lessons you could apply immediately.

A heartfelt thank you to our guest speakers, Tinaye Makoni, Noxy Duri and Kudakwashe Gumbie for pouring into the room with depth and transparency. And to CXXVII for the powerful spoken word performance featuring Absolom Chikwezvero, thank you for reminding us that building wealth and building legacy can still carry rhythm, creativity and soul.

If you were in the room, you left with:
👉🏿 New connections
👉🏿 Clearer direction
👉🏿 Greater confidence
👉🏿 Real opportunities

Thank you for investing your time, energy and belief in what we are building.

Tag someone you connected with. Share one insight you are applying this week. Keep the conversations going, because momentum does not end when the event ends.
This is how communities and your business grow.

See you at the next one.

At the Young Moguls Mixer, Tinaye Makoni challenged a belief that keeps too many dreams on pause - the idea that you need one more certificate, one more qualification, one more title before you’re allowed to move.
You don’t.
Yes, education matters.
But lack of education or more information is not a life sentence.
If you have passion, curiosity and the courage to start where you are, you are already in motion.
Breathe.
Survive the season you’re in.
Then thrive by taking the next step.
And when your self-belief feels shaky?
Borrow belief.
From friends.
From mentors.
From rooms (like ours 😉) that remind you who you are becoming.
Sometimes growth isn’t about adding another qualification or completing yet another course.
It’s about removing the doubt that’s been quietly holding you back.
If this spoke to you, what’s one step you’ve been delaying because you felt “not qualified enough”? Drop a comment below.

The right rooms change trajectories.

On the 21st, founders, creatives and go-getters came together not just to meet, but to grow alongside others who are building with purpose.

Because real progress happens when we move together.

If you were in the room, thank you for sharing your ideas, energy and perspective.
