FAMILY TRAVEL TIPS!!!!
You are probably planning a family trip, already in transit or at the destination for this Easter holiday!
TIPS
1. The best time to travel as a multifamily group in Zimbabwe is during the low season periods!
- 5 January to 31 March
- 1 May to 31 July
- 1 November to 15 December

The weather is perfect for travel despite the rainy months.
2. Pick a destination that everyone will be psyched about?
The last thing you want is to have grumpy teenagers and bickering adults on a holiday. So involve everyone when deciding on where to go for your next holiday. Select a destination that can cater for all in terms of places to stay and things to do.
3. Rope in at least 2 or 3 other families to travel with.
This will make the trip more interesting, especially for your children, as they get to do their own activities as friends or cousins and relieve you of parenting duties, especially for teenage kids. The older kiss will also be able to keep an eye on the younger ones whilst the adults enjoy some adult time on holiday.
4. Assign a planner amongst your group and let them be their best organized self.
This makes all arrangements more structured and organized and eliminates chaos 😆.
5. Car pool and take turns driving - self driving is always best for local trips
Either hire a mini bus to take you all with a designated hired driver or take turns to drive the route, especially to destinations like Gonarezhou, Victoria Falls, and Binga or Matusadonha only to mention a few.
5. Choosing accommodation - Get a facility that offers you as much space as you possibly can.
If you are 12, get three cottages, a spacious airbnb, or a hotel with family rooms in order for everyone to be free and have adequate space to relax.
6. No one's gluing you together: You do you
Allow for small group excursions and all group activities. Not everyone will want to do everything together. Let everyone choose activities they would like to do.
