📍📍📍🔆 THINKING 🤔OF BUYING SOLAR? READ THIS👇FIRST 🔆

Many people waste money on solar because they only look at price. The cheapest package is often the most expensive mistake.

There are 3 key things to look at.

1. Solar Array Size
The total wattage or power that can be generated on the roof. This is the most critical part because it determines how much energy you actually harvest. It must power your loads during the day first, and any excess should fully charge the battery for night use.

Why it matters:

Undersized array: Batteries don’t fully charge, so you’ll still use ZESA. You’ve wasted money on inverter + battery capacity you can’t use.

Slightly oversized array: Gives better performance in winter/on cloudy days. Usually better to be slightly over than under.

2. Inverter Size
Tells us how much load you can power at once. The inverter converts DC from panels/battery to AC for your house. The inverter can’t invert what it doesn’t receive — that’s why there should be enough energy from the roof.

3. Storage Capacity
This is your nighttime backup. The battery size should supply your night energy demand without switching off before 6am.

Undersized battery: System shuts down at night even with a big array.

Oversized battery + small array: If you have a big battery and small solar array, the battery never gets full. This shortens battery life.

Cycles & warranty:
Good lithium = 6000 cycles / 10 yrs.
Cheap ones = 2000 cycles / 3 yrs.

Future expansion:
Choosing a package with a big inverter and small solar array is only wise if you’re planning to expand the system later by adding more panels within a few months

Please stop buying solar systems first, then looking for an installer 😩

The wrong way we see daily:
You: "I bought 3.5kVA with 4 panels. Come install please"
Installer arrives: Wrong cables, no breakers, battery too small, roof angle wrong
Result: Dangerous improvising, cut corners, system dies in 1 year. Or worse = fire risk.

The right way:
You: "I want to power 1 fridge, 5 lights, TV, and charge phones. What do I need?"
Installer: Checks your load, roof, wiring, budget → Designs correct system + correct accessories
Result: System lasts 8-10 years. Safe. No surprises.

Why it matters:
1. Load ≠ System Size: 3.5kVA can mean 2 different battery/panel combos. Tell us WHAT you want to power, not the kVA.
2. Accessories matter: Wrong cables, no surge protection, weak breakers = burnt DB boxes. We see it every week.
3. Site is far? If installer has to "improvise" because parts are missing, your warranty is gone + safety is gone.

We don’t install customer parts without site visit + load assessment first. It’s your safety + our name.
