To all our valued informal traders operating on the streets and various undesignated sites, and members of the community, we kindly encourage those operating on the streets and other undesignated areas to relocate to designated vending spaces provided by Council in line with Government directive.
Our goal is mot to discourage business but to ensure that trading takes place in an orderly, safe and conducive environment for everyone.
Let us work together to keep our City clean, safe and attractive while creating an environment where business can thrive.

September is tourism month and generally recognised as Clean-Up month countrywide.
As part of his contribution to keeping our environment clean, Victoria Falls based Nqobile Mkwananzi of the MKWA Conservation Education set off from the and resort City on a sponsored walk to the border town of Beitbridge 760km away where he hopes to arrive by the 30th, being World Tourism Day.
He started with a clean on Friday at OK Car Park joined by Palm Hospitality Group staff and City Council to see him off.
Joined by other stakeholders he picked litter along Livingstone Way as he embarked on the journey.
He has appealed to the corporate world and well wishers and individuals to support the initiative as he aims to equip schools with furniture and wifi services.
He has made a passionate plea to desist from throwing litter along the highway.

Zambezi Helicopter Company Staff went all out to clean along Pioneer Road and the road leading to the helipad.

Ward 10 Councillor Thindolie Sibanda distributes cleaning material for a clean up exercise in his ward.
Dozens of ward 10 residents joined Council for the clean up exercise from the Old Cemetery down towards Dadani School in observance of the National Clean-up as proclaimed by His Excellency President Mnangagwa. Also participating in the clean up, Forestry Commission Zimbabwe, Deborah Widows Association, Dadani School, Kingdom Blue Funeral Services and Izeeko Rugby Foundation.
Various organisations are also cleaning around the City in an effort to make sure Victoria Falls is clean.

The upgrade of Chinotimba Stadium into a multi-sports facility continues with construction of netball and volleyball courts underway. The upgrade is meant to embrace sports tourism and ensure that young people have recreational facilities that can empower them to shun abuse of drugs and substances while also developing sport in the City.
Council is working with some partners on the projects which will see the facility having changing rooms, volleyball and netball courts.

The City of Victoria Falls has introduced sporting activities for its employees in an effort to encourage wellness at the workplace while also building teamwork and morale among other benefits.
The ambitious and vibrant employee sports programme was designed to transform workplace culture through health, teamwork and high morale by balancing work and social activities.
The sport codes include netball, soccer, volleyball, athletics, tug of war, snooker, darts, chess and golf.
Staff teams were set up with employees from across all departments selecting disciplines of their choice.
Already the City has a vibrant soccer team that plays in the Victoria Falls Social Soccer League and even participated in the inaugural Mayor’s Cheer Fund Soccer Cut last year.
In Victoria Falls, sport isn’t just recreation, it’s the heartbeat of a thriving City whose vision is to become “a smart and sustainable City by the year 2030”.
