A new office takes months of planning. When it’s time to move in, clients need confidence that their space will be ready.

For our client’s first dedicated UAE office at Al Sila, ADGM, CSQ delivered the new workspace through a full turnkey management contracting appointment, with Adam Parkin and James Finglas leading the project through to completion in July 2026.

When shipping delays affected the carpet and furniture, we arranged temporary alternatives to keep approvals and the planned move-in on track. Once the shipments arrived, we arranged a weekend changeover, including the removal and reinstallation of IT and AV equipment, to minimise disruption
to our client’s team.

That care and practical problem-solving helped build a relationship we’re proud to continue. Our client has since appointed CSQ to deliver its new Dubai HQ in DIFC Square.

Some people make a difference through their work. Others, through the way they make people feel. Mariflor Villalobos does both.

Today, we’re proud to congratulate Mariflor on her promotion to Senior Document Controller at CSQ.

This promotion recognises Mariflor’s contribution to our team and the care and commitment she brings to her work. Her role is an important part of keeping our project information organised and our teams supported.

Congratulations Mari! With today also being your birthday, there’s twice as much to celebrate. Thank you for everything you bring to CSQ and we’re grateful to have you on our team.

How do we unlock more from the buildings we already have?

Yesterday’s World Green Building Week event, brought together a range of perspectives on how existing buildings can be rethought, adapted and prepared for the future.

One point that stood out was the complexity behind projects like Al Maryah Tower - described during the discussion as “a project within a project”. Rather than one single intervention, there are multiple workstreams happening alongside each other, all contributing to the wider outcome.

It was a valuable opportunity to share CSQ’s experience on the project and contribute to the wider conversation around long-term value, performance and adaptability.

Thank you to Mario Saab, Marc Lynch, David Boyle and all of the panellists who contributed across the day and to Cundall for organising the event.

A very warm welcome to Harry Donoghue and Katrina Esber, who have recently joined the CSQ team.

Harry brings six years of quantity surveying experience from London, with a background spanning commercial, life sciences, private healthcare and mixed-use fit-out and refurbishment projects. His move to CSQ also marks a move into a new market, where he’ll be bringing that experience to projects across the UAE, from commercial and retail fit-outs to high-end new-build villas.

Katrina joins us with five years’ experience across quantity surveying and estimating, having worked across both pre- and post-contract roles, particularly within interior fit-out. Now part of our Management Contracting team, she’ll be building on her commercial experience while getting more involved in project delivery and coordination.

Different experience, new perspectives and plenty to look forward to.

Welcome to CSQ, Harry and Katrina! Great to have you both on board.
