We recently completed a major site preparation project at the Proserpine Police Station, delivering efficient and precise results from start to finish.

Scope of works included:
✔️ Removal of approximately 2,000m³ of existing fill
✔️ Import and placement of 1,500m³ of engineered fill
✔️ Compaction carried out using a 13-tonne roller to meet specification
✔️ Spreading and trimming of road base using a CAT 327 Posi-Track

All works were completed to a high standard, ensuring the site meets required levels, compaction, and is ready for the next stage of construction.

The boys stepped it up this week without the boss there. Trouble driveway, excess water seeping from the hill and spoon drain being the same height as the topsoil underneath the roadbase. Road was boxed out and filled with rock. 300 mil lift of rock and clay to seal the subgrade, and stop the water making its way through, then finished with road base. Looks mint, good job boys.

Stage 2 complete 2 weeks ahead of schedule, big thanks to all the contractors involved. Here’s some progress pictures, if you haven’t been to Cape Hillsborough, I recommend you get down and have a look. What an amazing place, especially now with the updated deluxe cabins and site upgrades.
