Losing yourself in your business is a common problem. We're so he'll bend on making the business work, we're so excited about doing the things for ourself and it's all we want to do anyway.

the issue comes 6+months later when that's still all that's happening and you've slowly cut yourself off from everything that's not related to your business.

Use these small start tips to get your outside work life back. It takes time but if you can implement one of these steps each week you'll find your way out.

Sometimes it's hard to visualise what a small business strategist can do for your business.

Here's how we helped a tradesman get control and reduce his time spent on the computer!

What Xero can do for your business:
- Quotes (with acceptance options) for clients = less time confirming and following up
- Invoicing with auto reminders = less time chasing payments
- Bank feeds for easy reconciliation= no more excel spreadsheet
- Bill reminders = never missing a bill again
- BAS in 10 mins = easy BAS reporting and lodging with the ATO

We're back with another edition of TBQ Times 🗞️ - this time we're talking about cheap social media caption packs.

🎯You've been targeted by them everywhere - $7 for 365 days of captions - sounds too easy to be true... and it is. These caption packs are well intended (we like to think) but they take so much of the personality out of your social media.

💢Our advice? Instead of purchasing one of these packs, sign up to ChatGPT or Google Gemini for free and ask it to help you plan 7 days of content that is specific to your brand.

❎Here's the catch, you are not allowed to cut and paste the captions straight into your post!! You have to edit and personalise each one to your brand, however, this prompt gives you a great starting point and generally gets ideas flowing.

📢TBQ Times Reports - The real problems facing small business owners.

This week's report about Pete may have you thinking that he should take less holidays and maybe that's the right answer to his problems, however the question TBQ has for Pete is:

What if you dedicated some time to working out what your your business plan and your budget is and what goals you're working towards.

😏We have it on good authority that with clarity and direction comes resilience and success.

👌Pete can probably fit in a couple of holidays a year and still make his tax bill, he'll never know though as he has closed his business and currently resides in Thailand to avoid his tax bill (and family gatherings).

Be better at business than Pete, future you will thank you.
