Our campaign with Justice Health NSW and NSW Health won two top awards at the Mumbrella CommsCon awards last night!

The “I Can Do It” – Co-Design to Overcome Ice Addiction in Jail campaign won:
• Best Non-Traditional Campaign of the Year
• Best Government Campaign of the Year

Notably, it was the only campaign to win across multiple categories.

The ‘Non-Traditional Campaign of the Year’ category recognises communications thinking applied to behaviour change, customer experience and innovation, making this a particularly meaningful win for the work.

Our patient-centric, ecosystem-driven approach broke norms by elevating prisoners to creative partners and influencers.

The hardest part wasn’t working in maximum security environments or engaging people with complex life experiences. It was developing clinically accurate content that could genuinely connect with people with low literacy and a deep distrust of authority.

This outcome reflects the commitment of our working group with NSW Health and Justice Health to keep patient voices central, while carefully balancing clinical integrity with accessibility in unconventional ways.

Judges commented on “just how clever and compelling the campaign was, being designed with intention, collaboration and continuous improvement. They tackled a difficult challenge and audience, reframing influence and word of mouth. It puts it head and shoulders above the rest.”

The “I Can Do It” campaign also won Best Health Campaign and Best Government Campaign at the 2025 CPRA Golden Target Awards.

A huge congratulations to all of the 2026 Mumbrella CommsCon Awards nominees and winners: https://mumbrella.com.au/here-are-all-the-winners-of-the-commscon-awards-918550

From concept to cultural moment, we have loved shaping the creative vision for Stadia 2 Street with the wonderful Office of Sport team!

See it here in live technicolour action brought to life by iconic Australian athletes including Junior Matilda Annabelle Croll, Olympian Chloe Covell, NSW Swifts Netballer Grace Nweke and NRLW captain Tiana Penitani-Gray. The campaign film is narrated by sports commentator and advocate for First Nations voices and women in sport, Marlee Silva.

Stadia 2 Street is a fan-led movement celebrating women’s sport through fashion and self-expression, inviting women and girls to style their football jersey or fan gear with personal touches so they can show their fandom in a way that feels confident, individual and wearable.

On International Women’s Day at 7.30pm AEDT, fans across Australia will come together in a national world record attempt for the most simultaneous selfies.
Join the movement!

Back 2 Back Wins! Best National Health Campaign & Best National Government Campaign at CPRA Golden Target Awards for “I can do it” co-design to overcome ice addiction in jail.

What do you do when you can’t use mainstream communications channels to spread your message? You think inside the box (or in this case, inside the prison walls).

This campaign took us deep inside jail - behind the gates, behind the visitors centre, to understand an inmate’s experience.

We learnt that the prison grapevine is more powerful than any social media channel, if you know how to use it properly.

For this project, we built a remarkable partnership with NSW Health and Justice Health. This was co-design at its finest. We challenged assumptions, thought creatively and always put the patient first.

We are thrilled to win this award for the Justice Health nurses and clinicians. These amazing humans show up every day, in incredibly tough environments, changing lives in ways most of us will never see.

As one one of the prisoners told us:
“I’m counting the days I haven’t stuck a needle in my arm. Every day I go, the better I feel, and the more courage I build to say no.”
That’s the power of a successful campaign.

Our team went on quite the journey at SXSW 25. It’s a profound moment in humanity when some of our human USPs have been usurped by machines. Is culture really culture if it is silicon rather than organic? Here are some key insights we captured through the week⭐️
