They bought one Jabiru. Six months later, they needed more. The students kept coming back, club members kept talking about how good it felt to fly. People were loving the Jabiru.
“We need a faster one,” they said. So a club member cross-hired his 230. Then another member traded his well-worn 160 in. Before long, one aircraft had become a fleet of five.
That’s not a sales decision, but a community voting with their logbooks.

It started with a man who built his own glider and taught himself to fly. That was 1932.

What started as one man’s dream, lead to three generations from that same family learning to fly at Clifton.

In 2002 Lone Eagle Flying School was established and they’re still here, still flying, still teaching in Jabiru Aircraft.

If you hold an L2 or LAME licence and work with Jabiru aircraft, this is for you. The course runs over two days and will have sessions around parts, mechanical and airframe maintenance. It’s also a great opportunity to network with other Maintainers from the Jabiru family.

Becoming a Jabiru Approved Maintainer means direct referrals from the factory, priority technical support, and expedited parts supply.
