Meta's own AI recommended a bidding strategy on one of my client accounts.

I ran it against mine. Same account, same budget, same products.

Mine: 8.37x return on ad spend. Meta's recommendation: 4.55x.

The reason isn't complicated. A platform algorithm optimises for what it can track — clicks, impressions, purchase events. It can't weigh those against what the email campaign is saying, or what the blog content has already pre-sold, or what the retargeting window is built around.
