☀️ That’s a wrap on our NSW Health solar projects! 💙

We’re excited to share that last week, our team completed the final installation in our latest round of Northern NSW Local Health District installations! 🙌

From Riverlands to Kyogle, Evans Head, Bonalbo and Lismore, our crew has covered plenty of ground, helping NSW Health make the most of solar energy. 🌱

Our final stop was Nimbin, where we wrapped things up with an impressive 88.8kW solar system! ⚡

These projects are helping NSW Health reduce its reliance on grid electricity and take another step towards a more sustainable future for healthcare facilities across the region.

A big shout-out to our hardworking team for all the effort that went into getting these projects across the finish line!

☀️ FLASHBACK: Bray Park Water Treatment Plant. One of our favourite commercial solar projects!
We partnered with Tweed Shire Council to deliver a custom solar solution at the Bray Park Water Treatment Plant.

Following the success of our Kingscliff project, we were awarded this installation, which involved trench works and a custom ground-mounted solar system designed to maximise energy generation.

The result is a system that helps reduce the Council’s energy costs while delivering long-term environmental benefits — preventing an estimated 295,000 kg of CO₂ from entering the atmosphere over its lifetime.

🔋 Now, there’s another reason for NSW businesses to consider battery storage.

The NSW Government has expanded the Peak Demand Reduction Scheme (PDRS) to include commercial-scale batteries for the first time. BESS4 and BESS5 provide incentives for eligible businesses installing battery energy storage systems, helping lower the upfront investment while giving businesses greater control over their energy costs and the ability to use more of the solar power they generate.

☀️🔋 Another solar + battery upgrade completed in Tyalgum.
This home already had solar panels, but after around 10 years, the homeowners were looking for ways to further increase their energy independence as power costs continue to rise.
With a pool, air conditioning and electric appliances, adding a BYD battery and additional solar panels was a great way to generate and store more of their own energy to use throughout the day and into the evening.
The customer was pretty happy with the result:

Another one completed in Bilambil Heights ☀️

Patrick wanted to reduce his power bills (previously around $600 per quarter) while gaining some extra peace of mind with backup power, as the area can occasionally experience blackouts. A small price to pay when you have a view like this! 🌅

The team installed a 9.1kW solar system featuring SunPower Maxeon panels and a Tesla Powerwall 3, allowing Patrick to store his excess solar energy and keep essential appliances running when the grid goes down.
