This week we completed a deck restain. First off we used a combination of Intergrain Ultra prep and a high pressure Gerni to remove the dirt and old Stain. After a day to dry with the cold weather, we then re-stained using 3 coats of Intergrain Ultradeck merbau giving the deck a beautiful finish for our valuable client, Victorian Academy of Teaching and Leadership Geelong campus.

Some before and after pictures of completed jobs this week. Not the best weather to be outdoors but we will always try to complete a started task in any weather.
First job was to assemble and install a new Hills clothesline for a customer in St Leonards and then off to Curlewis to hang some picture frames, mount a heated towel rack to a tile wall, mount a security camera above the front door and install a remote controlled ceiling fan.

Today we completed an install of some supplied fencing panels as fall protection on a raised front door porch which included a fence panel modified as a handrail. We also installed a panel on the rear steps as a handrail as per the customers request.
I was a bit unhappy with the look of the stair rails but the customer was pleased we could make it work for them.

Today we helped a client who was concerned with her metal roof making weird sounds and making the windows shake. We got on the roof for an inspection and found that due to the changes in temperature on the metal roof it was causing the roofing screws to pull out of the timber roof trusses. We removed all of the rusted 10g x 50mm roof screws and replaced them with Bremix 14g x 65mm B8 hex head roofing screws, which pulled all the roof sheets back into place.

Great way to end the week with the installation of cement sheet as a liner in a caravan storage box to protect the items inside from the weather. We also added some clips to hang brooms etc from the roof
