25 years ago, we started small. Today, we're growing bigger.

In 2001, RubberGem opened in Welshpool with one person and a vision: to turn end-of-life rubber into valuable new products, right here in Western Australia.

Over two decades, we've grown to employ 60 full-time team members. And now, we're expanding again.

Our East Rockingham facility is ramping up to full capacity. That means 70 new jobs skilled manufacturing, operations, logistics, engineering, and technical roles joining our team over the next 12 months.

This is what Australia's manufacturing future looks like: Advanced technology. Local expertise. Real jobs. Real growth.

We're not moving production offshore. We're building it here.

For 25 years, RubberGem Australia has been finding better ways to recover, recycle and reuse end-of-life rubber.

Now, for the first time, we're taking you inside our Western Australian recycling and manufacturing facility to see the process in action.

From go-kart tyres to the largest mining tyres in the world, RubberGem has the capability to process rubber at virtually every scale — including passenger, truck and OTR mining tyres, as well as heavy-duty conveyor belts from the mining industry.

But recycling is only part of the story.

Recovered rubber is processed into valuable raw materials and new manufactured products, while our commercial-scale devulcanisation technology creates opportunities for recovered rubber to be used again in new rubber applications.

It's an integrated approach to the circular economy:
Recover. Recycle. Reprocess. Remanufacture.
All here in Western Australia.

This facility represents the next chapter in a journey that started 25 years ago — and we're only getting started.
