Initially established in 2007 as Maxitool PNG, our PNG division has a new name and new logo that better represents our specialist capabilities in Papua New Guinea (PNG): Masin PNG.

‘MASIN’, when translated in Tok Pisin, one of PNG’s official languages, means ‘machine’.

The founders of MASIN have a combined 100+ years of in-country living and operating experience in PNG. Our company provides products and services for the maintenance and repair of industrial equipment in the mining, shipping and industrial sectors, with specialist services in vehicle fire suppression.

Maxitool Australia are proud to donate to this worthy cause to assist Michael Olsen to raise funds towards the Children's Cancer Institute.

Engineering to suit all applications...including keeping the grandkids safe! 🛠️

The brief was to design and build a guard to protect grandkids from climbing into a bespoke residential pond.
It had to be lightweight enough to be easily remove between visits and built of a material that could tolerate a chlorinated environment.
Jake, our in-house fabricator, who enjoys designing and manufacturing solutions for everyday problems, enjoyed the change from heavy equipment and had the finished product completed in less than 48hrs.
Hugh, son of Maxitool (AUST) General Manager Douglas Paterson gave his seal of approval.

At Maxitool we pride ourselves on being diverse maintenance and repair specialists. We provide first-class Managed Services to Papua New Guinea and require an experienced Vehicle Fire Suppression System Technician to join our team to install, service and maintain fire protection systems and equipment to the Chubb Fire Safety Standards of quality and deliver excellence whilst exceeding customer service expectations at every available opportunity.

About the Position:
• FIFO to PNG
• Roster 6:2 weeks
• Start asap
• Flights and accommodation provided

Skills & Expertise Required:
• Trade Qualified Vehicle Suppression Technician
• 5+ year experience
• Exposure to and working knowledge on different Fire Suppression Systems
• Up to date product and industry knowledge
• Effectively manage time and resources, ability to problem solve
• A solid understanding of the Australian Standards
• Demonstrated ability to install, service, repair, advise and report to full compliance
• Understanding of Hydraulic systems
• Commitment to Work Health & Safety Practices
• National Police Clearance
• Ability to pass medical assessments and D&A
• Ability to undertake continuous 12 hour shift rotations
• Ability and experience in FIFO work
• Current unrestricted Driver Licence
