Hi, I’m Ryan 👋
I’m the chef and owner behind The Village Feast. I thought it was about time that I introduce myself properly!
I was born in New York and raised in Gozo, Malta, where my love of food started in the kitchens of my family’s matriarchs. Watching my mum and aunties create incredible meals from simple, fresh ingredients led me into a career in hospitality and have shaped the way I cook today.
I’m a proud dad to two amazing daughters, dog dad to Hugo, and husband to my number one supporter, my wife, who helps with all sorts of things behind the scenes at The Village Feast. Her encouragement and belief in what I do mean the world to me.
I genuinely love bringing people together around a table. For me, food is about generosity, freshness, flavour, and creating moments that people remember.
Whether I’m catering a wedding, birthday, corporate event, or family celebration, I treat every event as if it were my own. I know how important these occasions are, and I’m grateful to everyone who trusts The Village Feast to be part of them.
When I’m not in the kitchen, you’ll usually find me enjoying a great espresso, swimming (one of my favourite ways to relax and recharge), collecting cookbooks and vintage servingware, helping out with community theatre productions, or cheering on Eurovision like it’s a national sport!
